• GSA gets respiratory medications and health care services provided and paid for by insurance carriers.

• Most Patients have Medicare and/or some other insurance, but do not know their benefits or options

• GSA's knowledge of special benefits, helps us get the help and support patients need.

• Most patients believe that the free flu shot each year is the only Preventative Benefit Medicare will pay for.

• Medicare and other insurance companies have special benefits that patient's are entitled to because they have Respiratory disease.

• Most patients only take expensive medication when they are in pain (can't breath) or when their disease is out of control.

• It is important to remember Patients must take medication everyday, symptoms or not. Patients can control Respiratory disease.

• Most patients do not understand their disease. Most patients need help, but have no place to go.

• GSA provides education, support and programs to help their patients understand and manage their respiratory disease.

• Most patients become a victim of their respiratory disease. Patients experience restricted daily activities, trauma, shortness of breath, and frequent E/R admissions.

• GSA takes care of patients, so that they do not have to be clinically and economically victimized by Respiratory Disease.
