Terbutaline Information

Brand Names: Brethine, Alupent, Proventil, Ventolin

Terbutaline is an adrenergic bronchodilator medication which increases the flow of air through the bronchial tubes by relaxing muscles in the airways. Terbutaline is used for asthma treatment, to alleviate shortness of breath, and wheezing. Terbutaline can also be used as Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema treatment. Terbutaline is most frequently ingested through an inhaler. This prescription medication should only be taken in accordance with your doctor's instructions.

Free under Medicare Part B: If you suffer from lung disease, and are on Medicare, you may be entitled to asthma treatment and medication at no cost.
