Budesonide Information

Brand Name: Pulmicort Respules, Pulmicort Turbuhaler

Budesonide is an corticosteroid class of medication, used to prevent swelling and inflamation. It is used primarily, to prevent asthma attacks. It is not an effective means of treating asthma attacks, and only used as a preventative measure. This medication should only be taken in accordance with your doctor's instructions, as prescribed for your respiratory disease..

Free under Medicare Part B: If you suffer from lung disease, and are on Medicare, you may be entitled to asthma treatment and medication at no cost.
