Questions about GSA

Who is eligible?

Patients suffering from Asthma, Emphysema, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Respiratory Disease), Pulmonary Fibrosis, Lung Cancer, or other Respiratory problems; Patients who are medication dependent and who pay out-of-pocket for their Respiratory medication and other healthcare needs; Patients who are short of breath, experiencing chest pain or are restricted in their daily activities; Patients that use more than one inhaler per month; Patients on oxygen, or patients that have repeated doctor and/or emergency room visits.

What do patients receive?

Patients receive what they truly need to stay healthy. GSA's Wellcare Treatment Program provides patients with respiratory breathing medication, special treatment and assistance tailored to the patient’s specific needs, nursing, home medical equipment, financial and nutritional assistance and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Patients also receive access to 52 different drug manufacturers that will give medicine free to patients with multiple health problems. Geriatric Services of America’s Patient Support Center provides comprehensive care planning, patient education and ongoing monitoring between doctor visits. GSA's goal is to improve self-care, identify complications early and avoid costly hospitalizations for senior's living with Respiratory Disease.
